  About the Design  

 

Files can also be e-mailed for your convenience. We can work with almost any format, but the following formats are preferred.
Files can be PC or Mac - Mac is preferred

PDF files (preferred format)
Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) or Generic eps
Adobe Photoshop (.psd)
TIFF files (.tif), Bitmap (.bmp), PICT (.pict), JPEG (.jpeg) or GIF (.gif) files.

No Publisher files accepted.

Make sure that your artwork is big enough. Very small representations of your graphics will not work.

Generally, we cannot work with images that are embedded in layout programs like Quark or presentations like PowerPoint. We can open these files, but for the best quality, the images should be provided along with the layouts.

The better the quality of your artwork is, the better the final product will be.

If you have your own design capabilities and only wish for eflyer to do the actual mailing, please keep these points in mind when designing your message:

We limit the width of our E-mail message to 533 pixels to accommodate varying screen and mail window widths.

Sophisticated HTML elements like JavaScript, DHTML, Style Sheets, frames, and even tables will not show up properly in many E-mail programs. We have found ways to make our messages simple yet compelling.

The images in the message will not be sent with the HTML and must be hard coded to the server with absolute paths.
E.g. http://www.yourserver.com/images/yourimage.gif.

We are very sensitive about offending people with large forced downloads in their E-mail boxes. Many, if not a majority, of our recipients are still using dial up modems that are limited to 28.8 due to older phone lines. It is strongly recommended that your total byte count including HTML and images not exceed 60KB.
